Summary:
On Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at about 3:51 PM Santa Clara Police and Fire Departments responded on a call of multiple loud explosions in the area of Poinciana Plaza. On arrival, the officers learned the explosions were from a severed gas line. Officers also observed the ABC Laundromat engulfed in flames. Santa Clara Fire Department started to work on extinguishing the fire. Five businesses (ABC Laundromat, KP Liquors, Poinciana Lounge, Sabor Salvadoreno, and Star Hair and Nails) were lost as a result of the fire.
