Stolen Property Recovered, Suspects Charged
Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office investigators have located stolen property identified in recent reports of breaking and entering to motor vehicles. The reported incidents date back to July of this year and were concentrated in the area of Bostic Sunshine Highway.
Earlier today, investigators visited the residence of two suspects, Christopher Milhous Fisher, age 20, and Corey Jacob Street, age 22, located at 281 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic. After a brief investigation, property linked to several of the reported incidents was discovered inside Fisher and Street’s residence.
Forest City Police Department investigators were contacted during the investigation. This collaboration revealed that some of the property located at 281 Bostic Sunshine Highway had also been reported stolen in the town limits of Forest City.
Investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Forest City Police Department have taken out multiple charges on both suspects.
Street and Fisher, individually, were charged with (20) counts of Break or Enter a Motor Vehicle (felony), (15) counts of Misdemeanor Larceny, (2) counts Larceny (felony), (2) counts Larceny of a Firearm, (1) count Safecracking and (1) count Injury to Personal Property.
Streets bond was set at $220,000.00 secured.
Fisher‘s bond was set at $110,000.00 secured.
