Phone service remains out at Hamakua police station (in Honoka'a) 
The telephones at the Hāmākua District police station located in Honokaa remain out of service. The phone company is working to restore service. In the meantime, persons requiring police service in that area should call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. If it's an emergency, call 911.
Persons who wish to leave a message for a Hāmākua police officer may do so by calling the North Hilo District police station in Laupāhoehoe at 962-2120.
