Green Bay Police recover body from East River 
On Saturday Aug 22, 2015 at approximately 11:45AM, the Green Bay Police Department was notified of a body in the East River near Main St. and N. Quincy St. Citizens walking along the trail on the south side of the river discovered the body and called police. Green Bay Police detectives and Dive Team responded to the scene. The male has been identified as a 47 year old male. His name is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
At this time the incident is being investigated by the detective division, but nothing appears suspicious and the department is awaiting results of an autopsy.
Nothing further will be released at this time.
