Synopsis: A 2000 Dodge Stratus with a male and two females was traveling westbound on the 4800 block of Friars Road. The vehicle struck the north curb of 4800 Friars Road and drove up onto the embankment and struck a large boulder. The vehicle caught on fire. The male was able to get out of the vehicle. The females were unable to get out of the vehicle and died at the scene. The male was transported to a local hospital with minor cuts and burns. Alcohol was a factor. Traffic Division is investigating.
