Graffiti Vandal Arrested in Sonoma Valley
On Monday, 8/17/15, a Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputy arrested Angelo Fischetti, 23 years old, from Sonoma for Threats, Being Under the Influence, and Violation of Probation.
During the course of the investigation, the deputy located numerous cans of spray paint and various nozzles consistent with graffiti taggers. Fischetti, who has a history of tagging, admitted that he likes to tag.
The deputy also noticed numerous items in Fischetti’s house and on his property that had graffiti tags on it. The graffiti was consistent with graffiti vandalism found in several locations in the Sonoma Valley, including Boyes Hot Springs and the City of Sonoma during the preceding week.
A detective subsequently interviewed Fischetti, who admitted to spraying graffiti at numerous locations in the Sonoma Valley and the City of Sonoma. He used the moniker “Hope” and “Karma” in his vandalism.
The Sheriff’s Graffiti Abatement Unit cleaned up the majority of the graffiti.
All cases, which total 8, were sent to the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office for filing.
