This afternoon, the Carter County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI agents investigate a jail death. Before noon today, Everett Park (d.o.b. 11/8/1994) was found unconscious inside his jail cell where he was housed by himself. Park was transported to Mercy Memorial hospital in Ardmore where doctors pronounced him dead. The medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine his cause and manner of death. Park was arrested Tuesday morning for first degree murder.
