The North Aurora Police Department would like to remind citizens that most schools opened today and that there will be increased patrols around schools during arrival and dismissal times.  Officers will be on hand to make sure traffic flows smoothly and to enforce parking and traffic regulations. 

Please be aware of stopped school busses and students crossing the street before and after school.  Don’t forget to Drop It and Drive – put your cell phone down and keep your eyes on the road. 

While tickets will be issued if appropriate, we’d rather have compliance than tickets.
