The report of a suspicious vehicle in Grand Terrace results in 3 arrests for possession of a loaded gun

SUMMARY:
On August 18, 2015, at approximately 8:43 am, Grand Terrace Deputies from Sheriff’s Central Station responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle and persons, parked along the edge of the roadway in the 23000 Block of Grand Terrace Rd. The reporting party had indicated that the vehicle was unfamiliar to them, had been parked in the location for several hours with the engine still running and the three occupants were slumped over and not moving. Upon locating the vehicle and making contact with the subjects inside the vehicle, all three immediately became uncooperative and confrontational with the investigating deputy. After the arrival of additional deputies, all three suspects were removed from the vehicle and detained. A search of the vehicle produced a fully loaded, semi-automatic handgun within the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
All three suspects continued to be uncooperative with deputies but were ultimately identified as Keith Coppock, Quran Crume and Austin Culler all of Las Vegas NV. All three suspects were arrested and transported to West Valley Detention Center for booking. Crume and Culler were booked for violations related to the Willful Obstruction of a Police Officer. Coppock was booked for Felony Possession of a Loaded Firearm/Dangerous Weapon.
