Jefferson County-Last night, officers arrested Jarrid A. Hall, 32, Alto, Texas after Hall fled from a trooper in a vehicle near Madison.
At approximately 11:50 PM, Trooper Robert Hutson attempted to stop a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Hall at the intersection of J.A. Berry Lane and SR 7 near Madison. Hall fled from Trp. Hutson in the vehicle northbound on SR 7. Hall then turned northbound on Breeding Road before finally coming to a stop at the intersection of County Road 500 West and County Road 1100 North in Jefferson County. Hall was then taken into custody without incident.
Hall was incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail where he was charged with one level 6 felony charge of resisting law enforcement in a vehicle. Hall was also cited for an open container violation and other infractions related to his driving. Upon posting bond for this charge, Hall will be issued an initial hearing in this case in Jefferson Superior Court.
