Two Arrested for Bomb Threat
The Jackson Police Department has charged two juveniles in connection to the bomb threat made at North Side High School. Yesterday North Side High School received two telephone calls in which the caller threatened there was a bomb in the school. Working cooperatively, the Jackson Police Department and the Madison County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case.
Two 17 year old North Side High School students have been identified and have been charged with Filing a False Report. In this case, because the false report was in reference to an impending bombing, they are charged with a Class C felony. Both suspects are being held at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center, pending a detention hearing.
