Woodward Co. Man Charged for Shooting Wife 
Chris Solida (d.o.b. 10/20/1971) was charged today with assault and battery with a deadly weapon in Woodward County District Court. Friday afternoon, Solida shot his wife, Brandy, in the head then fled to Kansas with the couple's two young children. Great Bend, Kansas, police arrested Solida after a brief standoff Friday night. Solida remains in a Kansas jail. A Woodward County judge has set his bond at $500,000. Brandy Solida has been discharged from an Oklahoma City hospital. The couple's two children remain in state custody.
