Woman Injured in I-65 Crash Succumbs to Her Injuries
Indianapolis, IN- A Freetown Indiana woman involved in a traffic crash on I-65 yesterday evening has died from injuries she sustained in that accident.
Yesterday evening at approximately 5:00 p.m., Indiana State Troopers were dispatched to a personal injury crash on I-65 NB at the 100.5 involving a passenger car and semi-tractor trailer.
Preliminary investigation and witness statements revealed that Savoy White, 75, of Noblesville, IN was operating a 1994 Chrysler NB on I-65 in the right lane at the 100.5 mm approaching the County Line Road exit. White attempted to move left from the right lane County Line Road exit lane to continue NB on I-65 and struck the end of the traffic safety attenuator. The vehicle then spun into NB traffic and struck a semi-traffic trailer operated by William Dawdy and came to rest after striking the inside concrete barrier wall. White and her front seat passenger, Patsie Linville, 78, of Freetown, IN were transported to Eskenazi Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Dawdy was not injured.
Last night at approximately 10:30 p.m. the crash investigation officer, Trooper Jason Madison, was notified by hospital officials that Patsie Linville had passed away.
