Three arrested in delivery driver robbery on N. Adams...

***UPDATE***APD Robbery Squad investigators developed information on possible suspects in this robbery.  A witness was able to identify the suspects from a photographic line-up, and warrants charging three men with aggravated robbery were issued.  On 8-14-15, shortly after midnight, officers arrested James Orion Lewis BM 18 and Jeffrey Wayne Thetford BM 18 at their apartment at 1550 S. Bell.  Both were booked into the Potter County Detention Center.  Early this morning, officers arrested Brandon Joseph Kelly BM 18 at his apartment in the same complex on the aggravated robbery charge.  Detectives are continuing their investigation into this and other recent robberies.  The three men arrested are charged only with the robbery complaint stemming from this incident.

ORIGINALLY POSTED FOR NIXLE SUBSCRIBERS:

On 8-12-15, at about 11:55 PM, officers responded to a reported robbery of a pizza delivery driver in the 1500 block of N. Adams.  Officers made contact with a Domino’s driver, a WM 22.  He was delivering pizza to a home in the block, and parked and stepped from his vehicle.  While approaching the house, a black male that appeared to be coming from the area of the house approached him.  A second black male approached from another direction.  The driver handed the pizza to one of the men.  That suspect demanded that he “give him everything he had on him.”  The victim rand the two chased him to near 16th and N. Adams.  Sometime during this, a third black male suspect became involved.  One of the men hit the victim in the head with a baseball bat.  When the victim fell to the ground, he was kicked in the back.  One of the suspects took the driver’s wallet out of his pocket.  An approaching car apparently caused the men to run, fleeing north and west from the scene.  The victim went to a nearby home and called the police.  AMS treated the victim for minor injuries at the scene.  The only suspect description available at this time is three black males wearing dark clothing.   Officers made contact with a resident at the home the delivery was meant for, and that person didn’t have any connection with the name or telephone number used in making the order.
