08/11/15
0714 Hours: A victim responded to the Newark Police Department to report his red 1994 Dodge Ram was stolen sometime during the night from Worthing Dr.
1410 Hours: Officer Johnson located and recovered an unoccupied stolen vehicle. A 2002 Chevy Blazer was found in the Homewood Suites parking lot with false license plates.
1745 Hours: A victim responded to the Newark Police Department to report her gray 1999 GMC van was stolen sometime during the day from Port Sailwood Dr.
08/11/15
1753 Hours: Officer Mapes investigated an auto burglary that occurred in front of a residence on Ruschin Dr.
2247 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a hit & run traffic collision that occurred within the last three days on Nutmeg Court.
2305 Hours: Officer Simon contacted and arrested a 28 year old male Newark resident for driving under the influence. The suspect was booked at Fremont City Jail.
08/12/15
0034 Hours: Officer Norvell arrested a 50 year old male Newark resident for an outstanding arrest warrant. The suspect was booked Fremont City Jail.
1615 Hours: Officer Slater arrested a 31 year old female resident for felony domestic violence. The suspect was booked at Fremont City jail.
1913 Hours: Officer Slater arrested a 23 year old male Fremont resident for possession of narcotics for sale and for committing a crime while released on bail. The suspect was booked at Fremont City Jail.
08/13/15
1245 Hours: Officer Bloom contacted and arrested a 32 year old female Newark Resident for being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was booked at Fremont City Jail.
1707 Hours: Officer Bloom accepted a Citizen’s Arrest from Macy’s and arrested a 49 year old female San Ramon resident for petty theft. The suspect was booked at Fremont City Jail.
2156 Hours: Officer Geser contacted and arrested a 57 year old male transient for his outstanding arrest warrant. The suspect was transported and booked into Fremont City Jail.
2223 Hours: Officer Mavrakis investigated a residential burglary on Cedar Blvd. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the home through a rear window. Property was staged near the garage suggesting the burglary was interrupted. The extent of the loss is currently unknown.
