DIAMOND LAKE VEHICLE LARCENY

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr reports his office is investigating a string of vehicle larcenies which occurred around the Diamond Lake area between Weds night 08/12/2015 and Thursday morning 08/13/2015. Deputies were initially called around 3:30 am for a suspicious situation being reported by a resident. Deputies found that the initial caller had property returned to the residence that had been found in the roadway that were taken out of their vehicle. Deputies checked the area without locating any suspects. The suspects entered into unlocked vehicles taking cash and valuables.
