On Tuesday August 11th, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. the Morgan Hill- Gilroy Regional SWAT team was called out to assist the San Jose Police Department in the apprehension of suspect Alfredo Aldape (24) who had felony warrants for residential burglary out of San Jose. The San Jose Police Department developed information that suspect Aldape was staying in a residence on the 100 block of Manor Court. All occupants exited the residence except wanted suspect Aldape . Neighboring residences were evacuated for precautionary purposes. Wanted suspect Aldape remained inside the residence even after multiple verbal instructions to surrender were given by the Morgan Hill- Gilroy SWAT team. After a seven hour standoff suspect Aldape was taken into custody without incident. Suspect Aldape was handed over to the San Jose Police Department and later booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for the warrants.
