Report all suspicious persons/activity in your neighborhood to the PD immediately. We have seen a significant increase in thefts and burglaries during last two weeks. Effected areas thus far are Silver Street, Pine Street, Beccaris Drive, Locust Street areas to the downtown area. One resident reported they believed someone tried to break into their home while they were at home but fled before police arrived.
