The Kern County Sheriff's Office is continuing to search for a suspect wanted for kidnapping, murder, and a shooting involving Sheriff's Office SWAT deputies in the Kelso Valley area.
The Sheriff's Office is advising residents in the Weldon and upper Weldon area of an increase in law enforcement activity in those areas today as the search continues.
Residents are reminded to use caution and report any suspicious persons or activity immediately to the Sheriff's Office.
