The Marion Police Department arrested William Ray Forbes one of two individuals involved in the vandalism to the Oak Grove Cemetery. 
The Marion Police Department arrested William Ray Forbes in connection to the vandalism done to 58 tombstones at Oak Grove Cemetery last week. Forbes was charged with one count each of Desecration of Graves Site and Felony Conspiracy. Forbes is currently in the McDowell County jail under a $25,000 bond. Detectives are asking for assistance in locating a second suspect involved. Jeffery Ray Smith white male, 22 years old from 664 Green St Loop in Marion, NC.
