1 INJURED IN CRASH

Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 8/7/15 at 1422 his office was called to Jefferson Township to investigate a personal injury crash that occured at the intersection of Osborn St and Highway M 62. 24 yr old Cassopolis resident, Brandon Gunn, was approaching the intersection when 52 yr old Cassopolis resident, Theresa Gilliam, turned left onto Osborn St crossing into the West bound lane causing the vehicles to collide. Ms. Gilliam was transported to the Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Mr. Gunn was not injured. It is believed that all parties were using seat belts and that alcohol is not a factor. This case remains under investigation.
