On this date Michael Bemus, a 56 year old white male, was murdered while in his Victory taxi cab at 2235 Northwest Pkwy at 2:56am. The Marietta Police Department Detectives Division has arrested Justin Marquis Graves, a 34 year old black male from Marietta, for felony murder and he is being held at the Cobb County Jail.

The Marietta Police department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred at 2235 Northwest Pkwy. At approximately 2:56hrs, on this date, officers received a 911 call in reference to a taxi cab driver that was unresponsive. Upon arrival officers found an adult male in the driver seat deceased from a gunshot wound. The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification. This investigation is still active and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
