Larceny of Catalytic Converters:
The Norton Shores Police Department has recently responded to three reports of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles in parking lots. The thefts are believed to have occurred during daylight hours of August 4, 2015 and possibly into the morning hours of August 5. One theft occurred in a business parking lot in the 800 Block of W. Norton, another in a business parking lot in the 4500 Block of Grand Haven Rd, and another in a parking lot of an apartment complex in the 900 Blk of Hamptons Ct.
NSPD is asking the public to immediately call 911 to report any suspicious subjects in parking lots with power tools, loitering near vehicles, or working on vehicles in parking lots.
