On 8/5/2015 at approximately 8:25 am, Deputies were dispatched to the Graton Casino to investigate two subjects sleeping in a silver Toyota Camry that was parked in the casino parking lot. The Casino personnel provided the license plate of the vehicle to dispatch. A records check on the vehicle revealed that the car was stolen out of Rohnert Park the day prior.
Deputies responded along with a RPDPS Officer and arrested two suspects who were inside the vehicle. They were identified as Armando Lopez a 29 year old transient from Santa Rosa. He was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools as the deputies found several vehicle keys and items related to vehicle thefts. The second suspect was identified as Filemon Vazquez-Montoya a 21 year old transient from Santa Rosa. He was arrested for an outstanding methamphetamine warrant, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
Both suspects were booked into the Sonoma County Jail. Lopez’ bail was set at $5,000 and Vazquez-Montoya’s bail was set at $12,500.
