Temple City Celebrates National Night Out on August 5, 6-9 p.m. at Temple City Park
In collaboration with the Sheriff’s Department, the City is co-hosting National Night Out, an event to strengthen and build a safer Temple City, tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at Temple City Park.
National Night Out is designed to heighten awareness on crime and drug prevention, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Residents are encouraged to attend and establish relationships with neighbors and local law enforcement, and to enjoy the following activities:
• Free food and refreshments (while supplies last)
• Live entertainment by Brian Lynn Jones & The Misfit Cowboys
• Special appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog
• Raffle prizes and give-aways
