Hello Neighbors,

On Tuesday, October 6th, neighborhoods throughout Grapevine are being invited to join forces with communities throughout Texas for the 32nd Annual National Night Out”. National Night Out which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the Grapevine Police Department and Fire Department.

National Night Out is designed to: Heighten crime prevention awareness; Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts; Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The City of Grapevine encourages every neighborhood to participate in NNO. Last year, we had approximately 40 neighborhoods/apartment communities participate. Don’t be the only neighborhood not in the game!

Neighborhoods celebrate NNO with a variety of events and activities to include block parties, cookouts, visits from local law enforcement officers, flashlight walks, contests, and youth programs. NNO has
proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships in our fight for safer communities. The benefits your community will derive from NNO will most certainly extend well beyond the one night. Get involved and help make Grapevine’s NNO 2015 a huge success!

Should your neighborhood wish to participate in NNO 2015 please plan on attending the organizational meeting which will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at 6:30 PM at the Police Department.
