National Night Out – Law Enforcement Appreciation Night

We would like to formally invite all Seal Beach residents, friends and family to the 2015 National Night Out – Law Enforcement Appreciation Night. The national event, known as National Night Out (NNO) is a designated evening when communities across America come together to take a stand against crime, drugs, and disorder in their neighborhoods. On Tuesday, August 4, 2015, the Seal Beach Police Department will be partnering with members of the community to affirm our conviction against crime, disorder and promote personal preparedness.

The event takes place at the Target Shopping Center’s northern parking lot area (12300 Seal Beach Boulevard, Seal Beach CA) on August 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM – Sunset. The Seal Beach Police Department along with Seal Beach Marine Safety, Seal Beach Community Services/Parks, Public Works, Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, Los Alamitos Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Cypress Police Department, Target and Ralph’s stores will be coordinating a night of information, interaction with public safety, and fun. Target and Ralph’s will be hosting a hotdog/beverage stand. This year, Seal Beach is promoting the "Leaving Porch Lights On" campaign, so please remember to leave them on for the duration.

This will be a great event to get involved in your community and meet your neighbors. With an expected 3500 – 4000 attendees we are looking forward to promoting a large number of City services and products to help everyone join in on the fun. We hope to see you all there!
