ECSO Website is Down 
The Etowah County Sheriff's Office website was compromised this afternoon, August 1, 2015, at approximately 4:10 p.m..
We were made aware of the inappropriate message that was placed on our homepage and quickly began working to correct it.
A server, belonging to the company who hosts our website, was hacked by an outside party and our website was one of many affected.
The Sheriff's Office website is currently down and in the process of being restored.
Please be patient with us. It will be a couple of days before the Sheriff's Office website is fully operational.
