The Simi Valley Police Department is advising motorists to avoid Sycamore Dr. south of Los Angeles Ave. due to a road closure following a traffic collision.

Emergency crews are at the scene of a traffic collision on Sycamore Dr. south of Los Angeles Ave. where a power pole (with wires) was knocked down across traffic lanes resulting in a closure of Sycamore Drive between Los Angeles Ave. and Heywood St.

Please use alternate routes for north/south travel such as Erringer Rd. to the west and Sequoia Ave. to the east.
