The Jackson Police Department donated funds to the Jackson Boys and Girls Club for Back to School shopping.
Today at 1:00 p.m., a donation was made to the Jackson Boys and Girls Club on behalf of the Jackson Police Department. This donation was made available through the Jackson Police Department’s Community Fund which is managed by West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. “Through the generosity of donors and the Andy Bailey Memorial 5k Run/ 1 Mile Walk, the Jackson Police Department was able to provide funding for four deserving families. This donation will assist these families in buying school supplies and clothing as they prepare to send their children back to school”, said Chief Julian Wiser.
The donation of $1,000 was presented to Sabrina Anderson, Executive Director, of the Jackson Boys and Girls Club.
“The Jackson Police Department is currently scheduling future events which will assist in growing the department’s community fund. The continued growth of the Jackson Police Department’s Community Fund will further efforts of giving back to the Jackson community, said Chief Julian Wiser”.
