Upcoming roadwork in downtown Danville
Motorists may see intermittent delays in downtown Danville over the next several days as roadwork will be occurring throughout the weekend and into next week.
Upcoming work includes:
Friday, July 31, 2015 - Evening: Grinding and paving of the Iron Horse Trail crosswalk on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. Traffic control will be in place and two-way traffic maintained. Work hours are 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday, August 1-2, 2015 - Day: Work on manhole covers on North Hartz Avenue and Diablo Road. No lane closures are expected, although motorists are asked to use caution in work areas. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Monday, August 3, 2015 - Day: Prep work for lane markers on North Hartz Avenue. Work hours 7:30 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 4, 2015 - Day: Work on traffic detection loops at signalized intersections at Hartz Avenue/Diablo Road, Front Street/Diablo Road, and Hartz Avenue/Railroad Avenue intersections. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday – Tuesday, August 4 – 11, 2015 – Evening: Installation of new crosswalks at several locations in the downtown. While the work is going on, the intersection will be closed, with traffic detours posted. Work hours are 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Motorists are asked to use caution in the work zones and expect minor delays.
