Tonight between 6pm and midnight, routine maintenance will be conducted on the Nixle public warning system and it may be intermittently unavailable for us to get important messaging out if needed. Nixle is GCSO’s primary vehicle for communicating messages to our subscribers, media and social media channels, particularly in the event of an emergency.
As this maintenance is necessary to improve reliability and stability of the Nixle system, if during that time GCSO needs to get a message out, and Nixle is unavailable, we will be communicating with local and regional media directly, as well as posting to social media directly.
