Press Release: Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

ACCUSED: Heather C. Wierzbicky age 37 Toms River, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On 7/25/15 at approximately 2:34 am, Officer Christopher Stenger was on patrol in the area of the Asbury Park Circle when he observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation. Officer Stenger stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Heather C. Wierzbicky. Officer Clune and Sergeant Schenk arrived to assist. An investigation revealed that Ms. Wierzbicky was illegally in possession of 28 prescription legend drug pills and two hypodermic syringes. She was placed under arrest and taken to the Township of Ocean Police Headquarters for processing.
Ms. Wierzbicky was charged with possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of hypodermic syringes. She was additionally charged with a failing to signal motor vehicle charge. She was released on summonses and is scheduled to appear at a future court hearing.
