The Board of Water Supply (BWS) would like to assure Leeward Coast residents affected by the 24-inch main break that the water they are receiving is safe to drink.
While that main is out of service for repair, the BWS is currently providing water to the district through other nearby mains. To protect the health and safety of the public, water from the repaired main will not be restored to the BWS system until until water quality test results show that it is safe to drink.
