Deputies discover $12,000 worth of stolen property, linking some of the recovered items to thefts at UCLA

INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property
LOCATION: 3036 N. State Street, Unincorporated County Area of Muscoy
SUSPECT: Armando Mora, 50 years old/ Mando Mora, 31 years old/ Jessica Sambrano, 26 years old - all residents of Muscoy
SUMMARY:
On July 21, 2015 at approximately 1:32 a.m., deputies responded to 3036 N. State Street in Muscoy (unincorporated area of San Bernardino) in reference to a shooting investigation. Upon arrival deputies made contact with a subject who was shot in the stomach. Through investigation, it was learned the subject had accidentally shot himself. While checking the residence for additional victims and evidence, identifiable stolen property was located. A search warrant was authored and served at the residence. The stolen property was linked to thefts at the University of California Los Angeles and other burglaries. Approximately $12,000 worth of stolen power tools, heavy equipment and military issued equipment were recovered.
Mando Mora and Jessica Sambrano were both arrested and booked at Central Detention Center. Armando Mora remained hospitalized and charges of possession of stolen property are pending.
