Night Roadwork Set for Next week in Downtown Danville 
Motorists are advised of work occurring today and tomorrow on North Hartz Avenue in downtown Danville as well as scheduled night work for next week.
On Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, crews will be pouring concrete for sidewalk, curb and gutter on North Hartz Avenue between Linda Mesa Avenue and Diablo Road. Once the sidewalk pour is complete, crews will be completing patch work along North Hartz Avenue. Two-way traffic will be maintained and motorists may see lane shifts through the construction zone.
Night work is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28 through Friday, July 31 on Diablo Road between Front Street and Hartz Avenue, and on Hartz Avenue between Diablo Road and Railroad Avenue. Crews will be grinding the street on Tuesday and Wednesday, and paving on Thursday and Friday. Work will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Traffic detours will be in effect.
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, July 31, 2015.
