Advisory

One vehicle injury collision near Quincy sends two to hospital, while third occupant flees.

QUINCY, Wash. (22JULY2015) - Three men injured, one seriously, after a one vehicle rollover collision on Adams Road last night at approximately 8:00pm.

Daniel Alcala, 20 of Quincy, was driving southbound on Adams Rd when he lost control of a 1990 Honda Civic near Rd 11 NW. After striking a dirt embankment, the vehicle spun, rolled and came to a rest on its top in a small drainage ditch.

Alcala waved down another passing motorist and requested help. He was transported by ambulance to Quincy Valley Hospital. He was treated and released for bumps and bruises.

Alcala's two passengers were able to crawl out of the vehicle. After refusing treatment, the first passenger, Wilmer Guerrero, 23 of Royal City, was picked up by friends and later transported to Quincy Valley Hospital by family. It was later reported that he had sustained a broken neck. The other passenger fled and his identity remains unknown at this time.

Alcohol and speed appear to be factors. Alcala was later booked into the Grant County Jail for Vehicular Assault.

It is unknown if the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.

The collision is still under investigation.
