Connersville – Yesterday afternoon, around 1 p.m., ISP Sergeant Brian Metcalfe and Trooper Chris Yeend were attending a Task Force Connersville meeting at the Fayette County Courthouse, about a proposal for a needle exchange program. While in the meeting Sergeant Metcalfe received a call from a Parole Officer, another member of Task Force Connersville.

It seems Parole Officer Victor Gurasco had been doing a home visit on a parolee’s home at 402 Eastern Ave. in Connersville, when he discovered a hypodermic needle and other drug related paraphernalia. Metcalfe and Yeend arrived at the residence and arrested Frankie D. Wright, age 44, for Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Level 6 Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class “B” Misdemeanor.

Wright was lodged in the Fayette County Jail.
