QUINCY, Wash. (19JULY2015) - Grant County Sheriff's Office reports that a 24-year-old California man was killed in a one vehicle rollover collision Saturday afternoon near Road U NW, just southwest of Quincy. The accident occurred approximately 3:20pm.
The man was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer southbound on Rd U NW, and failed to negotiate a turn. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled 3 ½ times, and the man was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body is in the care of the Grant County Coroner's Office. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.
The man was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. Speed and alcohol also appear to be factors in this collision.
