Roadwork set for week of July 20 on Railroad Avenue

Motorists are advised that major grading and paving work will be occurring the week of July 20, 2015
on Railroad Avenue between San Ramon Valley Boulevard south to Prospect Avenue.

The work is set for 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will affect both traffic and street-side parking. No parking will be available on either side of the street in the construction area, and for a 100 foot section on cross streets Church Street, Short Street and School Street.

Lane shifts will occur as the work progresses, which will create traffic delays of several minutes. Motorists are encouraged to use Front Street or Hartz Avenue as alternates.

All merchants will remain open during the construction and off-street parking (Railroad Avenue and Clocktower Municipal Parking Lots) will be available to patrons.
