Thanks to all of the residents who came to Crushcakes in Carpinteria on Thursday for a Coffee with a Cop event.  It was a great way to meet the City's new Chief of Police Services, Acting Lieutenant Mike Perkins and a way to say thank you to retiring Chief of Police Services, Lt. Brad McVay who will be missed.  The Sheriff also stopped by on his birthday to have some coffee and conversation with residents. 

Coffee with a Cop events are a great way for residents and law enforcement to connect in a casual atmosphere.  We will let you know when and where the next gathering is scheduled.  We hope you will join us!
