#029 Armed Robbery
Around 8:00pm on 07/15/15, officers were dispatched to the area of Ishi/Grimmer in regards to an armed robbery. Two elderly victims were walking with their five year old grandchild when two males approached them. One male pointed a handgun at the elderly couple and demanded their “gold.” The victims complied. One of the suspects also ripped a gold necklace from the elderly female’s neck. Both males fled and got into a possible silver four door BMW. The suspects were described as black males, both about 5’9” with skinny builds. One male was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the other male was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. The loss was jewelry.
#012 Commercial Burglary
Between 5:00pm on 07/15/15 and 10:00am on 07/16/15, unknown suspect(s) entered a business in the 37900 block of Fremont through a second story window. The loss was electronics.
#018 Warrant Arrest
At 11:30am, Officer Baca was dispatched to the area of Mission/Walnut in regards to two males trespassing on the property. Officer Baca arrived and contacted a male on the property. The male (48 years old/Fremont) was ultimately arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
#019 Under the Influence Arrest
At 12:33pm, officers were dispatched to a shopping center in the 39000 block of Fremont in regards to numerous 911 disconnects from a pay phone. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a known male. The male (27 years old/Fremont) was ultimately arrested for being under the influence of a stimulant.
#033 Residential Burglary
Around 11:40am, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 32800 block of Falcon by forcing the front door open. The loss was cash.
#043 Shooting Arrest
At 8:19pm, several officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Lincoln in regards to a battery in progress. While officers were enroute, several different people called FPD to report a shooting at the same location. Officers arrived and detained a male at the scene. A gun is located nearby. The male was positively identified as being in possession of the gun and firing it during the disturbance. The male (19 years old/Oakland) was ultimately arrested for shooting at an inhabited dwelling, receiving known stolen property and carrying a loaded stolen firearm. No injuries were reported.
#046 Battery Arrest
At 9:00pm, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Wheeler in regards to a family disturbance. Officers arrive and contact a female who was being detained by residents. The female (18 years old/Fremont) was ultimately arrested for battery on several different persons.
#001 Traffic Collision / Driving Under the Influence Arrest
At 11:39pm, officers were dispatched to the area of Farwell/Mowry in regards to a single vehicle that collided into a stop sign. Officers arrived on scene and located the male driver. The male (23 years old) was ultimately arrested for driving under the influence.
#002 Warrant Arrest
At 11:54pm, Officer Dooley conducted a vehicle stop near Fremont/Sundale and contacted the male driver. The male (24 years old/Fremont) was ultimately arrested for an outstanding warrant.
#007 Warrant Arrest
At 1:17am, officers were dispatched to Harvey Green Elementary in regards to people trespassing. Officers arrived and contacted a group. A male (25 years old/Modesto) was ultimately arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
#010 Driving Under the Influence Arrest
At 3:15am, Officer Kennedy conducted a vehicle stop near Gallaudet/Fremont and contacted the female driver. The female (32 years old/Fremont) was ultimately arrested for driving under the influence.
#011 Resisting Arrest
At 3:46am, officers contacted a male near Blacow/Grimmer. The male fled on foot and jumped into a nearby backyard. Officers chased the male and confronted him in the backyard as he was coming back towards the officers. A short fight took place between the male and officers. The male (50 years old/Fremont) was arrested for resisting arrest and trespassing. No injuries were reported.
