7/9/15

0622 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a hit and run collision with minor injury. A bicyclist was riding W/B on Thornton Ave. near Marshlands when the passenger side mirror of an unknown grey colored sports car struck the bicyclist.

0735 Hours: CSO Verandes investigated vandalism to a vehicle on Clark Ave.

2145 Hours: During a traffic stop on Sterling Court, Det. Warren arrested two occupants of the vehicle. A 19-year-old male (transient) was arrested for a warrant and an 18-year-old male from Fremont was arrested for public intoxication.


7/10/15

1030 Hours: Officer Stone investigated a vehicle burglary on Bettencourt St.

1450 Hours: Officers responded the area of LaSalle Dr. and Fountaine Ave. for a suspicious vehicle with one subject inside of it and two other subjects walking around it. Officer Horst located the vehicle and male occupant. The vehicle came back as stolen out of Pleasanton. Officer Horst arrested a 23-year-old male from Alameda for possession of the stolen vehicle and a warrant.


7/11/15

0121 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Brittany Ave, Officer Rodgers arrested a 28-year-old male from Newark for a warrant.

0221 Hours: During a traffic stop on Lake Blvd, Officer Khairy arrested a 24-year-old male from Newark for DUI and driving without a license.


0956 Hours: Officer Nobbe responded to the Chevron Station located at Thornton Ave. on a report of an intoxicated male. A 60-year-old male from Newark was arrested for warrants.

1314 Hours: An unoccupied stolen vehicle from SJPD (1996 Black Honda Accord) was located near the intersection of Cherry Street/Buena Vista Drive.

1358 Hours: Officer Horst accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 20-year-old male from Fremont for shoplifting at Macy’s.

1414 Hours: Officer Neithercutt investigated a theft of a vehicle from Haley St.

1651 Hours: CSO Parks investigated a residential burglary on Cedar Blvd.

1847 Hours: Officer Khairy arrested a 45-year-old male from Nevada for three warrants.

2159 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Rockrose Dr., Officer Simon arrested a 32-year-old male from Newark for a warrant.

2206 Hours: Officer Rodgers responded to the Raley’s parking lot on a report of a disturbance. A 33-year-old male from Newark was arrested for public intoxication,

2255 Hours: While checking on a suspicious vehicle on Mirabeau Dr., Officer Smith arrested a 36-year-old female (transient) for warrants.


7/12/15

0050 Hours: Officer Rodgers investigated a window smash auto burglary on Parada St. near Stevenson Blvd.

0141 Hours: NPD units responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a tree on the center median on Newark Bl. A 28-year-old male from Union City was arrested for DUI.

0128 Hours: During a traffic stop on Thornton Ave, Officer Khairy arrested a 40-year-old male from Fremont for DUI.

0901 Hours: During a warrant service on Reina Pl., Officer Lopez arrested a 39-year-old male from Newark.


7/13/15

0658 Hours: Officer Musantry investigated a report of a stolen Camaro from Ruschin Dr.

0925 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated the theft of a 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup from Cherry St.

1334 Hours: Officer Jackman accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 31-year-old female from Fremont for shoplifting from JC Penney.

1500 Hours: During a traffic stop on Thornton Ave, Officer Lopez arrested a 41-year-old male from Fremont for DUI and possession of marijuana.


7/14/15

1224 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated a residential burglary on Wintergreen Dr.
