Check out our website to find a weekly updated map of the Yard Debris Pickups for City Residents! Refer to Web Message for more info.
As a continued effort to show our residents we are listening to their concerns, we are now keeping an updated map to show where yard debris crews are at weekly. You may go to http://www.citynpr.org at the bottom of the page, click on the icon that says “Click Here for current yard debris pickup schedule.” This will direct you to the map.
As most of our residents already know, debris is to be placed on the right of way, as close to the street as possible without going over the roadway or sidewalk. Do not tie or bag the debris, as we will not pick it up. Should your pile have anything other than yard debris in its pile, it will be red-tagged to advise why it has not been picked up. Once the issue has been corrected, the pile will be picked up on its NEXT regular pick up. This service is strictly for City Residents. We do not pick up from commercial properties or businesses.
Crews travel a specific route to pick up the debris. This route is on a continuous rotation. It generally takes about 6-8 weeks to get through the entire City to pick up all yard debris. You may use this to estimate, from your last pick up, to see when they will be in your area again.
Should you have a lot of trimming to conduct, the City asks that you call the Public Works Department to get a closer time frame and schedule your trimming when we will be in your area, as we do not do special pickups.
