On 07/12/15 at 7:30pm a male white pulled over next to a nine year boy on his bicycle in his driveway and told the child, "You look real good". The child's father, an off duty police officer, exited his garage and saw the man stopped by his son at which point the offender fled the area. The father attempted to locate the vehicle with negative results.
The offender is described as being a male white in his forties very tan, and wearing a dark colored tank top. The vehicle is a faded red in color small pick-up, Ford Ranger or Chevy S-10 type, with a push lawn mower in the bed.
The incident took place on Shadowood Drive near Edgewood Road in Crystal Lake.
