Missing Man’s Body Found at Park Lake, near Sun Lake State Park.

Near SUN LAKES STATE PARK, Wash. (12JULY2015) – Grant County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the body of a 34 year old man reported missing yesterday on Park Lake (SR17 North near mile 92) has been found. The man went missing yesterday at approximately 6:30pm after reportedly jumping out of a moving boat. GCSO’s Marine Unit responded and tried to locate the man last night and resumed the search again this morning.

The Grant County Coroner’s Office has been notified. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notifications to his family.

Park Lake has been reopened to motorized vessels.

Meanwhile, officials continue their efforts today to try and find a man who is went missing and is presumed to have drowned in Banks Lake on Friday, near Coulee City. The missing man has been identified as Craig E. Plummer, age 69 of Ephrata. Plummer went missing while swimming from a boat with relatives.
