Lock, Take, Hide
Thefts from autos typically increase during the summer months. Currently, the crime rate is down this year in Marietta and the Marietta Police Department would like to remind the community of the Lock, Take and Hide program. Entering auto crimes can be deterred by following these 3 simple steps:
1: Lock your car
2:Take your Keys
3:Hide your belongings
The Marietta Police Department encourages the community to always LOCK your car, TAKE your keys and HIDE your belongings. Leaving valuables such as a GPS, cellphone, tablet, laptop or even a camera in your vehicle can make you a prime target for an entering auto crime.
