7/1/15

0747 Hours: NPD Officers were dispatched to the area of June Whiteford School on a report of a male sleeping near the school’s sign. Officer Fredstrom arrested a 41-year-old male from Fremont for a parole warrant.

0831 Hours: Officer Musantry conducted a warrant service on Quince Pl. and arrested a 52-year-old female from Newark.

1643 Hours: Detective Ramos saw a wanted subject, a 26-year-old male from Newark, on Bettencourt St. The suspect fled on a bicycle and was subsequently arrested on Spruce St for his warrants, battery on a Police Officer, resisting arrest, and a probation violation

1710 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated an embezzlement from Macy’s. An 18-year-old female from Union City was arrested.


7/2/15

0639 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a non-injury collision on Sycamore St. and Graham Ave. During the investigation it was learned one of the drivers, a 19-year-old male from Newark, had a warrant and was arrested.

1022 Hours: Officer Fredstrom was assisting Detective Erkisen during an investigation on Thornton Ave. A 34-year-old female from Newark was arrested for a warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

1737 Hours: Officer Horst investigated a residential burglary on Tunbridge Dr. Entry was via a door kick to the side garage door between 0700 and 1730.


7/3/15

0112 Hours: Lt. Arguello stopped a vehicle after it almost collided with him on Civic Terrace Avenue. Officer Losier responded and arrested a 26-year-old male from Fremont for DUI.

0632 Hours: Officer Fredstrom investigated a burglary at 20/20 Image, 39718 Cedar Blvd.

0939 Hours: Officer Stone investigated a burglary at the Tasty Restaurant, 5576 Newpark Mall.

2232 Hours: CSO Parks investigated a window smash auto burglary that occurred on Newark Boulevard.

2231 Hours: Officer Johnson was dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver leaving the area of Los Portales restaurant located on Cedar Boulevard. Officer Johnson located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near Stevenson Blvd and Blacow Rd in Fremont. A 30-year-old male from Fremont was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


7/4/15

1256 Hours: Officer Musantry arrested a 24-year-old male (transient) for domestic battery on Locust St.

2344 Hours: One of many fireworks related calls in the area of Anjou Ct. resulted in the arrest of an extremely intoxicated 22-year-old male from Newark for public intoxication.


7/5/15

1514 Hours: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in a moving vehicle on Thornton Ave. A 42-year-old male from Newark was arrested for DUI.

1940 Hours: Officers responded to a family disturbance on Souza Avenue. Officer Simon arrested a 33-year-old male from Newark for a warrant.


7/6/15

0207 Hours: Officer Arroyo investigated an interrupted auto-burglary on Spruce Street.

1030 Hours: During a warrant service at the EZ-8 Motel, Officer Musantry arrested a 46-year-old female (transient) for a warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

1115 Hours: Officers responded to Rockrose Dr for a disturbance. Officer Nobbe arrested a 37-year-old female from Newark for public intoxication.

1532 Hours: Officer Musantry accepted the citizen’s arrest of a shoplifter at JC Penney. A 60-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting.


7/7/15

1719 Hours: Officer Taylor accepted a citizen’s arrest for shoplifting from Macy’s. A 49-year-old female from Fremont was arrested for shoplifting.

2005 Hours: Officer Arroyo accepted a citizen’s arrest for shoplifting from the Burlington Coat Factory. A 32-year-old male from Union City was arrested for shoplifting.

2313 Hours: Officer Geser investigated an interrupted burglary on Linden Ct.


7/8/15

Patrol investigated the theft of Catalytic Converters overnight from Maple St, Peachtree Ave, Robertson Ave, Rubicon Ave, and Lobelia Drive.

1130 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a minor injury collision in the parking lot of Ranch 99 Market. A pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

1646 Hours: During a pedestrian stop on Mayhews Landing Rd, Detective Warren arrested a 29-year-old male from Newark for a warrant.
