OSBI to Hold Press Conference on Unsolved Moore Homicide Case

More than 34 years ago, Tracey Neilson was viciously stabbed to death inside her Moore apartment. January 2015, OSBI shared crucial evidence with the public hoping it would spawn new leads pointing to the killer. OSBI revealed a cable ticket book with Tracey’s address, the date, and time of the service call. That date -- January 5, 1981 -- Tracey’s 21st birthday. The time hand written on the ticket was around noon, approximately the time of her murder. Through dozens of tips, OSBI learned the ticket book belonged to a Southwestern Bell employee. However, records of which employee used that ticket book on that date have not been located. Friday, July 10 at 2:30 p.m., OSBI invites media back to headquarters (6600 N. Harvey Place, OKC) for a look inside the crime scene. Agents will also reveal what the killer took from the scene, possibly as a souvenir. Information on that evidence or other information about the case could garner an enormous reward. That, too, revealed during the press conference.
