New Castle Man Arrested For Meth
New Castle – Last night around 6 p.m. members of the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team and Pendleton District Troopers accompanied State Parole Officers on a home visit of a parolee at 2946 Hillcrest here in New Castle. A New Castle man was arrested on felony charges as a result of that visit.
Further investigation after officers entered the home led to the discovery of a meth lab and the chemicals used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine. Arrested was Chadwick A. Tobias, age 27, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Level 4 Felony, and Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of the Precursors used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, all three Level 6 Felonies.
Tobias was lodged in the Henry County Jail. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Shirley Police Department, New Castle Police Department and State Parole Officers.
